We serve a growing number of Mandarin-speaking clients, so Mandarin language ability is highly valued, though not required.
Core Responsibilities:

Flooring: Expert tiling for bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces; re-carpeting; and laminate/hardwood floor installation.

Renovation and Repairs: Wallpapering and decorative wall finishes, ceiling work (minor repairs, patching, painting, or re-coating), plastering, and wall preparation.

Interior Repainting: Full interior repainting and fixture replacements.

Cleaning: Post-renovation cleaning and specialist cleaning services, including move-out prep, grout and mould treatment, and washing machine dismantling.

Property Maintenance: Rental property deep cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Client Communication: Clear communication with clients in English and/or Mandarin.

Worksite Maintenance: Maintain a safe, tidy work site while using tools responsibly.
Skills & Experience:

Primary Skill: Strong expertise in flooring installation, including tiling, carpet laying, and laminate/hardwood floor installation.

Additional Skills: Multi-skilled with experience in completing various renovation tasks as needed, such as wall preparation, plastering, painting, and cleaning services.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with clients in both English and Mandarin.

Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in building or property renovation Strong skills in- Tiling, flooring, wallpapering
Ceiling and plaster repair
Painting and basic carpentry
Experience with power tools and hand tools
Ability to work independently and manage time well Mandarin language skills strongly preferred
Must have NZ full driver's licence
Work experience : at least one year working experience in nz as a tiler etc
